Training course "Tools Supporting Educational Innovation" Huelva,  Spain

From the 6th to the 10th of March, five employees of our organisation Youth Center of Epirus had the great opportunity to participate in a Training Course in Huelva, facilitated by the organisation Inercia Digital. This mobility is designed as a continuous training action for our team, in order to promote digital environments of innovation and promotion of pedagogical practices that can serve in the mentoring and training processes that we develop.

The Training Course "Tools Supporting Educational Innovation", gave the participants the opportunity to have a better understanding of the digital tools available with the aim of improving educational contexts. Besides digital competences, they worked on various transversal skills, very necessary in the area of education, such as creativity, teamwork for the establishment of active networks, interpersonal communication, decision making, etc.

During the educational sessions, the group discussed possible applications of the contents seen during the Training Course and how they could possibly be adapted to our context once the mobility was over. It has been a very enriching and rewarding experience that has opened new avenues of collaboration both among the participants and with the organisation Inercia Digital.

Inercia Digital is a social company, with corporate, democratic and open social responsibility, characterised by cooperation, the encouragement of a spirit of initiative, creativity, and the promotion of equal opportunities for all, achieved through open communication strategies, an equality plan, individual and collective development plans within the organisation, through continuous professional training and innovation programs, among other measures. Its mission is to promote training and innovation in digital skills and entrepreneurship in education for trainers in Europe, becoming a centre of excellence in this task. It should be noted that their extensive catalogue of courses (internet security, learning and teaching through social networks, cybersecurity, video games and educational programs, etc.) means that they can adapt to our needs in a dynamic and committed manner. Finally, the entity also offers training for entrepreneurship from a continuous perspective, a fundamental section for the development of our activity. The training entity can give us a boost in relation to increasing the development of skills and productivity to improve long-term results through the acquisition of digital skills and new educational methods necessary in modern work and social environments.

This Training Course is part of KA122-ADU - Short-term projects for mobility of learners and staff in adult education called Youth Center of Epirus working for the promotion of innovation in adult education through resource and content creation and multimedia publishing. In the framework of this project, the next mobility will take place in Huelva, Spain from 8 to 12 May to equip educators and students with the tools necessary to publish multimedia material in today's content-based online experience.
