Youth exchange "We are far away - Leipzig to Stavroskiadi", in Epirus region of Greece

Youth exchange "We are far away - Leipzig to Stavroskiadi" took place from 7th to 14th of August 2023, in Stavroskiadi village near Ioannina, Greece, coordinated by an organisation from Germany KINDERVEREINIGUNG Leipzig e.V. (https://www.kv-leipzig.de/). 18 young people from Germany and Greece in ages from 13 to 16, together with several youth workers, took part in this Erasmus+ youth exchange project, which aimed to strengthen soft skills of the young participants, to promote intercultural dialogue, and to improve the young participants' knowledge about social exclusion and discrimination, and various specific related themes, such as, sexism, feminism, racism, prejudice, privilege, etc. During the youth exchange, participants joined non-formal education activities on the theme of the project (theatric games, group workshops, discussions, presentations, etc.), discovered local surroundings of the village and also Epirus region, participated in a local music festival, and much more!
