Youth Exchange  "Together 4 Our Planet" in Agros, Cyprus

In the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, the youth exchange "Together 4 Our Planet" took place in Agros, Cyprus, from 22 to 30 September 2023. The youth exchange "Together 4 Our Planet" was a project organised by the Agros Environmental Group. The aim of this project is to protect the environment and raise awareness about sustainable development through voluntary action. This youth exchange involved 40 participants from Cyprus, Czech Republic, Hungary, Spain and Greece. A young Greek participant reports:

"Our experience in Cyprus left us better than it found us! In our project we participated in on the environment, we found ourselves in a beautiful picturesque village of Cyprus, Agros, where we interacted with nature in the most creative and beautiful ways. Through our activities (creating a theatrical play, hiking, creating 'advertisements', gift exchanges etc.) we not only managed to educate ourselves on the very topical issue of environmental problems, but we also created friendships without borders! With the main participating countries being Greece, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Spain and Hungary we managed to develop relationships that will last a lifetime, and we have already had the pleasure of meeting many of our overseas friends again.

Among other things, travelling to many places in Cyprus (Larnaca, Limassol, Nicosia, etc.) we tasted traditional food and drinks from many different operators and in many forms. Finally, the hotel that was provided to us made our experience even more unique as we had the space to get to know each other without external disturbances, which allowed us to organize our own activities in our space (e.g. International cooking lessons.) thus giving a coherence to the days and nights that we spent entirely together in our own little paradise".
