Training course "For the new Generation: Training for group leaders" in Croatia

Between 21.07-30.07.2023 in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, a Training Course entitled "For the new Generation: training for group leaders" took place in Samobor, Croatia, organised by Udruga srednjoškolaca Hrvatske. This Training Course was attended by young people from Croatia, Romania, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Greece and Spain. A young woman from the Greek team writes:

"From the 21st to the 30th of July we were given the opportunity through Erasmus+ to be in Samobor, Croatia for this great program and this great learning experience. Everyone loved the way they taught us how to be a proper leader but also about the opportunities and needs of the Erasmus+ programme through workshops and various activities. With the knowledge we gained it is certain that everyone became more informed about the needs and qualifications that a proper group leader must have for the best possible creation of a proper group and program.

In addition, the coordinators were always by our side when we needed them and did their best to make this experience unforgettable. Also the atmosphere was ideal which helped all participants to be more social with each other. So by the end of the program friendships were created that will last for years.The free day where we had the opportunity to rest and organize small excursions helped us learn more about the culture and traditions of the people and was a great opportunity to discover the beauties of the area. Finally, I have to say about the help given to the Greek team by the Greek organization, something that helped make this trip even better for all members. It was a unique experience that we hope everyone experiences at least once in their lifetime and it was no surprise that we were all very sad when it ended".
